In recognition of outstanding service towards societal transformation and notable contribution in achieving sustainable development in realizing a self-sufficient, peaceful and prosperous nation as envisioned by ‘Bharat Ratna’ Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam, top performing organization in each of the following five categories were bestowed with Abdul Kalam Seva Ratna Award – A Golden Medal with a cash prize of Rs. one Laksh, 10 gram Gold Coin and a Citation by Abdul Kalam Vision India Movement.

3. Providing Safe drinking water Mission
4. Creating Clean and Green Campus, Village and City Mission
5. De-addiction Mission
“ABDUL KALAM SEVA RATNA” was presented to me as a Founder, M.S.Chellamuthu Trust & Research Foundation, Madurai as an achiever in the category of DE-ADDICTION MISSION on 9th November,2015 at Music Academy, Chennai by His Holiness the Dalai Lama.
The awardees were selected by the eminent Jury Panel headed by Shri. T.S. Krishnamurthy, Ex Chief Election Commissioner which includes Hon’ble Judges, Ex IAS, IPS, IFS Officers, Former Vice Chancellors, Industrialists, Doctors, Eminent Social Reformers across the nation.
I consider this award as recognition not to an individual but to the entire mentally disabled community.
