MS Chellamuthu Trust & Research Foundation (MSCT&RF) organised its annual staff talent show on March 3, 2018, at its Shristi unit to showcase the varied talents of the staff. It was platform to exhibit their talents and to entertain staff as well as residents.
A Rangoli competition was held at 11.00 am atthe Occupational Therapy (OT) Hall of the Shristi unit. Other competitions included poetry,drawing, and essay writing, dance, solo singing and group dance.
The official ceremony commenced later at 3.30p.m. with an invocation in the form of our Trust Prayer by Rajangam, senior social worker of Trishul Centre. Muniyasamy, social worker from theBodhiCampus welcomedthe gathering including R. Rajkumari,ExecutiveDirector;LathaGurubharathy, DirectorAdministration, MSCT&RF; Mr.Vaithiyanathan, Prof.Mahadevan,Eswari and the SHARE Members, judges of the events, participants and all staff and residents of MSCT&RF.
Mr.Rajangam, Senior Social Worker (SSW) and Mr.Muniyasamy, Social Worker (SW)compered the show. BodhiCampus Staff Team performed a very moving skit on the theme of “Humanity”.
R. Rajkumari in her special address appreciated all the participants for having confidently exhibited their talents. She commended the quality of the performances and appreciated each of the participants and the manifold talentsof our staff. She also explained the main purpose of conducting the talent showwas to encourage the staff, relieve them of their monotony and boost their morale. She particularly appreciated Jansi Rani, HR Head, for having organized such a wonderful program at such short notice with the active involvement and participation of all staff members from the various centres and units of MSCT&RF.
Prizes were distributed to the winners and Runners by our Executive Director & Director Administration. The entire programme was mostenjoyable and was a memorable and pleasant occasion for the competitors and the audience. The programme ended with the National Anthem.
