International Nursing Day was celebrated on 12th May 2016 at Shristi, a Centre for Psychiatric Rehabilitation of the Trust. Staff Nurses from all the units of the Trust assembled and exhibited their talents by performing a Skit, depicting the theme of De-Addiction and recovery followed by dance and poetry. Dr.Nandhini Murali, Gender Activist from Nandha an NGO at Hyderabad was the Chief Guest of the day. She appreciated the staff nurses for their good service, human care & support towards persons with mental disabilities.
As a part of the event, candle light ceremony with oath taking was conducted. Senior Nursing staff and nurses with outstanding performance were honoured by awarding prizes. Mr.Rajangam, Senior Social Worker welcomed the gathering and Mr.M.Ramu, Team Leader, proposed vote of thanks.
