Florence Nightingale was well remembered as we celebrated “International Nurses Day” on 12th May 2015, at Shristi, a unit of M.S.Chellamuthu Trust & Research Foundation (MSCT&RF) for Psycho-social Rehabilitation, at Chittampatti, Madurai. The theme, “A Force for Change: Care Effective, Cost Effective” was well established by the speakers and our nurses. Mr.K.Narayanan, Director, Unique Management Consultant, Madurai, was the chief guest. He spoke about nurses care and importance of nursing. Special Address was given by Smt.R.Rajkumari, Executive Director, MSCT&RF, Madurai.
The Nurses gave a wonderful cultural entertainment with great enthusiasm. Our Chief Guest & Executive Director honoured our nurses .The ‘Best Nurse’ Award was given to Ms.Kanagavalli (Retreat) and the ‘Best Senior Staff Nurse’ Awards were given to Mrs. Ruby Stella (Trishul) & Mr.Solai (Trishul).
